The Catalan isn't a language, in cataluña speaks spanish, cataluña is in spain, the Catalan is a dialect of this autonomous community. El catalán no es un idioma, en cataluña se habla español, puesto que cataluña esta en españa, el catalán es un dialecto de españa

I think she acts better when she does it in Spanish. I don't like her when she plays a role in the English language, but she's pretty any ways...

heheh funny that people talk about languages and identities in a Pe Cruz video. Lets talk.Im galician (north spain) and our language its close to Latin, but we share some typical structures with Celtic languages like Gaelic as remains of Pre-Roman times. Sure most of latin words in English was introduced during the French-normand invasion. The point is that I find english more useful to express feelings... its much more easy to make double senses in english and in galician than in spanish

Yes, i agree with that, but the people from ENgland took not only some words from latin when they were speaking anglosaxon, they also took the latin alphabet.

You say that the english language is derived from latin... you are absolutely wrong, the fundamentals of the english language come from the anglo-saxon germanic dialects, so english is a germanic language by nature not a latin language, the only reason that there are many latin words in english is because of french norman rule and because of the adoption of latin words by religious intellectuals of the Middle Ages and Renaissance era (latin being the de facto language of catholicism).
