interesting vid. although fairchild c-f has the distinction of being the first programmable ROM cartridge-based video game console. Id still give the general individual game cart based console (even though they were circuit cards) to the original Odyssey. Its a matter of opinion i guess. cheers

Yeah I think the one I mentioned with the touch screen doofer lol, is actually the Pandora which you mentioned. I would love one of those, but the thing is, how long will it be before they release yet another machine to take it's place which betters the last one? That's the only annoying thing really, technology is advancing waaayyyy too fast for my liking. Slow down a bit you techy game machine making nerds, give us chance to get used to the current machine before the next one is out lol

Yeah the GP2X is a bloody cool little wonder machine, plays allsorts, C64, SNES, Megadrive, Amiga, plus all the homebrew stuff & of course the GP2X exclusive stuff..tis all good :-D But like you said it was discontinued, & there is a new one out/due out that works a bit more like the DS with the touch screen thingamy. I highly recommend anything GP2X related though if you love games, all the classics in one go. Just remembered my Sega Game Gear too :-D add that to my previous list of machines :)

I remember Astro Wars well. I had that and Galaxy Invaders 1000, when I was a kid. Keep meaning to pick those up on ebay sometime. That's a nice collection you have. I was planning on getting a GP2X, but they discontinued it before I got round to it. Probably gonna get the GP2X Wiz though, and still umming and ahhing about a Pandora.

Oh yeah, forgot to say my PSP too lol, & Grandstand's Firefox F7 (boxed), & my Astro Wars (boxed), which aren't actually computers-consoles as such, but stand alone games of their own, but I rate Astro Wars as a true classic & it's up there with all the others & loved it as a kid & still do now :-D Nice to see your collection mate, love to see what rare treats other collectors have. It's deffo a great pastime. Just the other day I got a brand new sealed Pitfall for the woody from '82, STUNNING!

Blimey Steve, that's a fair old collection you have there, & I thought I owned a lot of machines :-D I do own a fair few myself actually though, but nowhere near your fine collection. Mine goes something like.. C64, C64G, C64C (2 of), C64GS, VIC 20, Commodore Plus 4, Amstrad GX4000 (boxed but not working), Amiga 500, Amiga 1200, CD32, Atari 2600 (Woody), Atari Lynx (1&2), Atari Jaguar, GP2X, SNES, Gameboy Pocket, Nintendo DS, N64, Megadrive, Playstation, PS2, Crystal X Box, X360, Wii............

Heh. It took several attempts :)I figure I'll have to split the computers, consoles and handhelds into 3 videos next time, coz I don't get to say half of what I'd like to.
