? sry but i couldn't see anything better than linux...in linux ubuntu i have that but i don't need to enter a single line of code to put effects to work, im not saying that bsd is bad i'm just comenting because of your description Fancy FreeBSD desktop using Modular Xorg. It all depends on what you're striving for. I'd be inclined to agree with you for a desktop installation, but all my servers run BSD. 2 years without a reboot!
