Well, you know, he was three, just three when he first took a violin. I reckon he first performed in public at seven. Amazing! Oh, by the way, you down there, I guess you're right, he wasn't a "nice guy". He really doesn't look friendly after all..

Heifetz was a genuis and the culture that produced him is now dead. He was not a "nice" guy but demanding people rarely are. This is a light weight piece but his unique mastery elevates it to art.
