Ah, that's the problem. When you zoom in, all you are doing is magnifying the image that was taken from 500 miles. You are not actually changing your point of view. Except for the terrain and 3D buildings, all the imagery in Google Earth is just two dimensional. A plane in the air looks the same as one on the ground (except for its shadow).

well hea but if you zoom-in to the height planes fly at then the view is as if you are actualy looking from the height theat planes fly at, not the height of the satellites. get me?wow, have you? Im going to check them out now!

Yeah, svampebob007. I've never found anything interesting in Google Earth. But lots of others have. There are web sites with collections like gearthhacks or bbs.keyhole
