He should take a look at the stanford video about self-improving ai and nano-technology. The approach is uncomparable to what we are doing now, like writing the program, sticking conventional CPUs together and 'simulating' ai on a software level.Nano technology could probably allow the same parallelism as in a biological brain without depending on quantum computing and the machines are supposed to develop and improve themselves. A human supplies only a specification of the problem/goal.

I may not be a theoretical physicist by degree, but I am ten times the thinker that Kaku will ever be. Michiho Kaku is an asshole. I once contacted him years ago about a truly original idea that he completely dismissed without consideration only preach as his own idea years later. You're a fucking fraud Michio! You take other people's ideas and use them as your own...YOU KNOW YOU DO IT!!!
