That shouldn't matter tho.. it sounds great plus this is american not french.. so the British wouldnt have anything against that. I cant work it out to be honest.

I guess he's so deep rooted in the American culture and it's very much about the American experience and that the people on the other side of the Atlantic didn't "get it"? maybe it's just a culture thing???

Cant understand why this guy never made it in UK.... I know the motown stuff was seen as alien and Dusty Springfield even had a show on British TV trying to showcase some of it, so i can understand why it never appealed and they generally didnt/understand get most of it.. but for this guy playing rock n roll (which is universal) to be as unfashionable i dont get.. and if you dared like him you were seen as uncool.
