Paying income tax in America is Voluntary
When you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit. Idiot Harry Reid maintains that paying income tax is voluntary in the U.S.. Harry Reid is the Majority Leader in the U.S. Senate. He's obviously not very bright. But then again... he is a politician. Interviewer Jan Helfeld does a great job of trying to nail him down but... well, you'll see. See more bottom Line Interviews by Jan Helfeld at janhelfeld.com

I don't know about the fools. What about We the Sheeple that allow for the mischief in the first place?Until We the Sheeple become more like We the People and realize that the sheeple let their government steal from one to give to others to buy votes to create more government it will be the same old, same old.

Harry Reid is just another legal thief politician. Spinning words to keep the legal plunder coming in. Make it all seem legal as usual.

Harry Reid is the leader of the Senate because it is the house of fools. They care more about their power then the country- many generations will suffer because of the current fools in the Congress.

The jurisdiction of a robber with a gun is the gun. The jurisdiction of legalized plunder in the form of taxes that pay for another's greed, schemes, failures, wants, desires, pleasures and mischief for many is THREAT, DURESS and COERCION by government force; which includes guns.

If, as he seems to be claiming, he cannot in fact understand the question, then clearly, he is of an intelligence so low, and so retarded, that he needs to be given special assistance, probably some building blocks to learn how one things follows another, and quite likely he does not have the mental capacity to sit in office. ALTERNATIVELY he could be lying out his ass, and, if we have any brains we must ask WHY do people lie? To cover up THE TRUTH of course!
TheGoodnessIsGood (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Oh this guy is just spinning it, it is a lie. If you don't pay, they make you pay. that is force. what other definition of force can there be?

I remember working in Britain, Germany and France. I was a salaried worker. Income tax was deducted from my wages.

Can somebody PLEASE explain to me WHY Harry Reid is the Senate majority LEADER?I'm not asking WHAT he stands for (left/right/center) or about the actual process of HOW he got the position (voted in by his fellow Democratic senators). I'm asking the question "WHY" because the man seems to have NO "political" (and communication) skills. Certainly there are other Democratic senators a lot more qualified to lead. What the hell am I missing?Anybody?
