It´s quite helpful for a new student and very easy to understand the routing concept from your example. But my advice is that better to read book first and then come to youtube or other sides of the internet.

this is a poor example, better to use a freight truck or the postal service as mail and freight are a lot like tcp/ip, just more technical. im getting my ccna certification and this would confuse me if i wasnt taking a class for it. if i knew somebody that could do animation i could give a way better example.

I'm taking a 600-level networking class and this was a fantastic "general overview" kind of presentation to give the broad outlines of what's going on with these protocols. Thanks very much for posting it!

If you are a programmer, you'll find out that networking and programming have many similarities.Programming is pretty much predictable because the code writer explicitly writes the code and make one standard (his/her code);the predictability of data control is in the application itself.Networking is boggling because there are a plithera of standards that must be configured and data is not very predictable. Thus, bequeaths network security.
