lol I like this version better than studio because at around 6:00, with the keyboard a little bit louder, it sounds better when the keyboard/guitar riffs overlap. on the studio version it's barely heard.

Agreed, this is what I try to explain to people who hate Labrie. He may not be a fit for them if they had a band, but if you did try to take Labrie's voice out of any DT song, it would seem unnatural. Even with their first album where they did have a different vocalist, the vocals were very high pitch and over the top. They were looking for someone who could hit the high notes. That's just how they want their music.

If DT was dissatisfied with their vocals, they would switch him out. You have to understand thats how DT WANTS it to sound. Its for them, not for us. This is how the song was intended to sound, no one else could fit the bill. LaBrie has a wide variety of sounds he can make with his voice, this song just happens to be less expansive on his chords, and again, intentionally.
