The Original Pink Panther was three cartoons combined. The Pink Panther (DUH!), Inspector, and The Ant and the Aardvark. They probably got the Pink Panther Movie idea from Inspector. Lol, I never saw any of the Pink Panther Movies. But, maybe the detective guy is the inspector. (They never say the inspector's real name).
