like propaganda said, they are always escorted by at least two other ships. plus, the aircraft carriers have aircraft armed with sub-hunting gear. plus the us is'nt at war with russia, so i dont think that is that big of a threat.

you are mistaken since these things never ever travel alone. in war time they travel with entire fleets of the most advanced Ships in the world belonging to the United States Navy all invludeing Destroyers and Subs.
